How to rename files

 

Issue

Can’t rename files in Aure NetApp File share location.

 

Resolution

Microsoft engaged product team internally to unlock the file and then it was ok.

We found the user from IP 172.23.26.71 is opening is file which prevent you from renaming.

Moving forward, you can also follow below article to disconnect open files from customer side.

To run the command, you should have the credential of the account which you used to join the SMB share within AD domain.

Login to a Windows server within the same domain.

Run the mentioned command in above documents to query the open files and disconnect if required.
